Big Disappointment

Well........our Appalachian Trail trip has been canceled!

Why?  Several reasons, 1.  not enough students signed up and 2.  one of the Instructors will be having knee surgery and they are required to have two Instructors on the trip.

The kids are disappointed.  I feel bad for them.  They've worked/trained really hard for months to get into shape, not to mention that this trip also counts as one PE credit for them.

My son and his classmates were begging me to take them anyway, on our own.   Are they NUTS??!!!  While I'm disappointed about not seeing an area that I've never been to I'm not all that disappointed that we'll be missing the camping.
