Sedona Day 4

Oh, I am definitely paying for last night!!  Why did I drink that last glass of wine???  UGH!!

I literally rolled out of bed and into the shower.  Somehow, we're supposed to be ready and functional for the Film Festival Awards Brunch......yeah, right!

We managed to get out the door and Darren dropped us off at L'Auberge for the brunch.  All I want is some coffee and greasy food to absorb the alcohol still in me.

L'Auberge is a lovely place and the set up looked gorgeous.  There were a few minor flaws in some of the setup, but no matter the ceremony was nice and fun!

We did see our pals from last night, Bruce & Leschak.  They arrived wearing dark glasses and looking like we felt.  Good, I'm glad it's not just us.

We did meet some very interesting people at our table, mostly other filmmakers.  There were also a few celebrities.

After the Brunch, we were finally able to connect with the folks from Sedona Monthly Magazine, the sponsor of our tickets.

Unfortunately from here it's time to head back to Phoenix.  Kelly gets on a plane tonight, while Darren and I fly out early tomorrow morning.

Driving away from Sedona is always a saddening experience for me.  I find it incredibly hard to resist the urge to grab the steering wheel and just yank it, spinning the car around and racing back to Red Rock Country.

Something about this place just calls to me and I vow that someday this will be my home!
